Writers to sign books, read work at Greensburg session

Mystery and historical romance writer Barbara Miller will be among area authors at a book-signing hosted by Ligonier Valley Writers on Feb. 8 at Craftique Collections in Greensburg.

Seven area writers will attend a Feb. 8 book-signing in Greensburg.

Ligonier Valley Writers will host the free event from 1-3 p.m. at Craftique Collections, 770 E. Pittsburgh St. Refreshments will be available.

Participating authors and their genres, as follows, also will read short excerpts form their work and answer attendees’ questions:

• Marge Burke, historical fiction

• Linda Ciletti, romantic fantasy

• Ed Kelemen, paranormal and ghost hunting

• Joanne McGough, mysteries set in Ireland

• Barbara Miller, mystery and romance

• Mary Ann Mogus, paranormal mysteries

• Ronald Murphy Jr., cryptozoology and paranormal.

Theme of the event is “Fall in Love With Books for Valentine’s Day.”

Books by other LVW members also are available in the Craftique Book Nook. Among those titles is “Phantom Detectives at Risk,” the fourth book in a mystery anthology series published by Greensburg Writers’ Group as a fundraiser for LVW. It contains 10 short stories by local authors.
