Simone Johnson, daughter of The Rock, starts with WWE
The daughter of the most electrifying man in sports entertainment is stepping into the ring.
Simone Johnson, daughter of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, has started training with WWE, according to the wrestling promotion. She has reported to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, a massive training facility for the company.

“It means the world to me,” Simone, 18, told WWE.com. “To know that my family has such a personal connection to wrestling is really special to me and I feel grateful to have the opportunity, not only to wrestle, but to carry on that legacy.”
In addition to her father, Simone’s grandfather Rocky Johnson and great-grandfather Peter Maivia were wrestlers.
With her family lineage, WWE said that Simone could be the first fourth-generation wrestler in the company’s history.
