Kid Rock wears American flag pants for golf with Trump

President Donald Trump apparently took in some golf on Saturday with long-time friend and supporter, Kid Rock.
Trump was scheduled to be in Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Fla. this weekend.
Kid Rock posted a photo to social media with Trump and a thank you note, “Another great day on the links! Thank you to POTUS for having me and to EVERYONE at Trump International for being so wonderful. What a great man, so down to earth and so fun to be with!! KEEP AMERICA GREAT!!”
Kid Rock wore a red vest with red, white and blue flag pants for the outing. Trump wore a red “USA” hat and white polo shirt.

Twitter users were quick to call out the patriotic pants as disrespectful to the flag.
Kid Rock has supported Trump since his presidential campaign in 2016. He has also visited the White House at least twice during the Trump presidency. Once with Ted Nugent and Sarah Palin in 2017, and again last year with Kanye West.
The rocker also flirted with a potential U.S. Senate run in his home state of Michigan in 2017.
The golf outing comes after special counsel Robert Mueller’s closed his report on the Russia investigation and delivered it to Attorney General William Barr on Friday afternoon.
After two days of Twitter silence, Trump tweeted Sunday morning, “Good Morning, Have a Great Day!” Then followed up: “MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”
