Bethel Park’s longtime mayor won reelection Nov. 4, according to unofficial Allegheny County results.

Republican Jack Allen garnered 6,926 votes, representing just under 52% of the total cast, in defeating Democrat challenger Jon Lloyd (6,383 votes).

Allen was first elected mayor in 2013 after serving on Bethel Park Council since 1997. He ran unopposed in the 2021 general election.

The county’s unofficial results showed Democrats winning four seats on council, including Joe Janosik retaining his seat in Ward 5 with 818 votes against Republican challenger Tom Provins’ 551.

In Ward 1, Diane Ford topped Joseph A. Consolmagno, 681 votes to 587. Ford defeated Consolmagno for the Democratic nomination in the primary, and he ran in the general election as a Republican.

Other winners were Jillian Kautzman in Ward 7, besting GOP candidate Kevin Sheahen by an 896-768 count, and Ward 9’s Alison Piccolino, 799-557 over Republican Denise A. Galloni.

In Ward 3, Republican John Oakes, council president, was unopposed.
