Delmont council will see one new face in 2026, along with two from the past according to Tuesday’s unofficial election results.

The borough had four council seats up for election, each with a four-year term.

Incumbent Pamela Simpson, who did not file for reelection but made it onto the ballot through write-ins, earned the most votes in a tight race where the top spot was separated from the bottom by less than 30 votes.

Simpson took 19.84% of 2,339 votes cast. She was followed by former council members and husband and wife Julie (19.62%) and Robert Walczer (19.24%).

Newcomer Tina Marie Campbell took the final council spot with 18.98% of votes.

Incumbent and council President Andrew Shissler finished outside the top four with 18.73%.

All results are unofficial until certified by the Westmoreland County elections board.

In the mayoral race, incumbent Alyce Urban ran unopposed and earned more than 83% of votes cast.
