The Pittsburgh Penguins recalled rookie defenseman Jack St. Ivany from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League under emergency roster conditions.

A right-handed shot, the 25-year-old St. Ivany has split the 2024-25 season between the NHL and AHL rosters.

In 19 NHL games this season, St. Ivany has recorded one assist while averaging 16:22 of ice time per contest. He has not played in an NHL game since Nov. 29.

After being assigned to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Dec. 3, St. Ivany appeared in 21 AHL games and scored six points (one goal, five assists).

St. Ivany (6-foot-4, 205 pounds) is in the first year of a three-year contract with a salary cap hit of $775,000. The first two years of the contract are structured two ways with regards to his pay structure at the NHL and AHL levels.
