Fox Chapel Area High School senior color guard captain Emma Bergerud performs at the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Marching Band Association competition Sept. 23 at Norwin High School.
The Fox Chapel Area High School Marching Band won first place in the Class AA division. It also received the highest scores in both the visual and general effect categories. The theme of this year’s show is “Cosmos.”
The band is under the student direction of drum majors senior Chloe Kim and junior Luca Zgurzynski, and band directors/teachers Daryl Lesnik and Evan Hertrick.
