5 injured in Ligonier crash involving 4 motorcycles

Five people were injured Sunday evening in a crash involving four motorcycles and an SUV in Ligonier Township, Westmoreland County 911 dispatchers said.

According to Tribune-Review news partner WTAE, the crash was a head-on collision.

Dispatchers said the five patients were taken to local hospitals after the crash, which took place around 6:45 p.m. near Route 30.

Route 30 was closed in both directions temporarily after the crash but has since reopened.
