Association of University People events

The Association of University People invites singles over 50, who are four-year college graduates, to join them for activities and to meet new people. Activities include monthly dinners, social gatherings, concerts and day trips. Those interested can attend three activities as guests before joining. Sewickley council will meet at 6 p.m. June 13 at the borough building, 601 Thorn St.

Sewickley Hills council will meet at 7:30 p.m. June 13 at the borough building, 349 Magee Road.

Sewickley Heights council will meet at 4:30 p.m. June 19 at the borough building, 238 Country Club Road.

Glen Osborne council will meet at 7 p.m. June 20 at Osborne Elementary School, 1414 Beaver St.

Edgeworth council will meet at 7 p.m. June 20 at the borough building, 301 Beaver Road.

Senior program

Leetsdale’s Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program will be open from 9 a.m. to noon June 26 at Leetsdale Manor, 27 Spencer St. Call Elsa Eyer at 412-307-1728 for more information.

Senior men’s club

An affiliate of the Sewickley Valley YMCA, the Senior Men’s Club will host the League of Women’s Voters won June 9. On June 16, Donald Warhol from the Andy Warhol Museum will speak on Andy Warhol’s life and legacy; on June 23 there will be a briefing on the new Quaker Valley High School and there will not be a meeting on June 30. Business Connection

The Greater Pittsburgh Business Connection, a referral group of business professionals, will meet June 14 at Eat’n Park on Route 60 in Robinson for breakfast from 7:15 to 8:30 a.m. Speakers will be Suzette McCarrell of McCarrell Landscape Construction and Stephanie Milazzo of Mary Kay Cosmetics.
