Someone who shops at the Giant Eagle in New Kensington is almost half a million dollars richer.

The Pennsylvania Lottery announced Monday that a winning Cash 5 ticket was sold at the grocery along Tarentum Bridge Road for the Sunday, May 21, drawing. The ticket, worth $400,000, matched all five winning numbers: 2-8-13-36-39.

The winner has one year from the drawing date to claim the prize, the Lottery announced.

More than 11,200 other Cash 5 with Quick Cash tickets also won prizes in the drawing, according to the Lottery.

Giant Eagle will get a $500 bonus for selling the winning grand-prize ticket.
