In the opener, a 2-1 loss, RHP Vince Velasquez (0.00), rehabbing an elbow injury, started and went 4.2 innings, allowing four hits and one walk, striking out two. LHP Daniel Zamora (3.78) gave up a run in the sixth and RHP Cody Bolton (1-1, 2.35) allowed a run in the seventh to take the loss. LF Cal Mitchell (.270) went 2 for 3 with a run scored, and RF Mark Mathias (.271) went 1 for 3 with an RBI. SS Jared Triolo (.250) went 1 for 2 with a walk and a double.
In the second game, Indianapolis was one-hit and lost 1-0. RHP Hayden Wesneski threw five hitless innings.
