INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 19-21) defeated Iowa (Cubs), 10-5. 3B Malcom Nuñez (.233) hit two singles, a double and finished with three RBIs. Endy Rodríguez (.245) slapped an RBI double and added a triple. SS Vinny Capra (.202) smacked an RBI double. LF Cal Mitchell (.261) and 2B Nick Gonzales (.276) each walked and singled. LHP Kent Emanuel (2-1, 7.54) started and gave up three runs on six hits in five innings. RHPs Eli Villalobos (6.75) and Carmen Mlodzinski (4.24) tossed two and one shutout innings, respectively. RHP Colin Selby (4.11) was tagged with two runs on one hit in a relief appearance.

Next: Friday vs. Iowa (Cubs), 7:05 p.m.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 17-17) outslugged Bowie (Orioles), 13-11. 1B Mason Martin (.184) went 1 for 4 with a grand slam, his sixth homer of the year. 3B Claudio Finol (.222) went 3 for 4 with his first home run. SS Liover Peguero (.266) went 3 for 6 with a double, three RBIs and two runs scored. RF Connor Scott (.167) went 3 for 5 with two runs scored and an RBI. C Henry Davis (.314) went 1 for 4 with an RBI. RHP Aaron Shortridge (3-2, 3.82) started and went six innings, allowing two runs on five hits with four strikeouts. LHP Tyler Samaniego (6.92) gave up five runs on three hits and two walks without recording an out.

Next: Friday at Bowie (Orioles), 7:05 p.m.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 20-16) lost a 2-1 decision to Asheville (Astros). LHP Anthony Solometo (0-3, 3.68) is finding his first win to be elusive but tossed seven strong innings, allowing two runs on three hits while striking out six. RHP Santiago Florez (4.61) threw one shutout inning of relief and gave up no hits. 2B Maikol Escotto (.239) reached on an error in the seventh and scored on an RBI single from DH Jackson Glenn (.305). SS Tsung-Che Cheng (.272) hit two singles and had a sacrifice bunt. CF Tres Gonzalez (.333) singled to extend his hitting streak to 12 games.

Next: Friday at Asheville (Astros), 6:35 a.m.

BRADENTON (Low-A, 20-16) were rolled 10-3 by Clearwater (Phillies). 2B Termarr Johnson (.276) hit a solo home run, his first of the season. CF Shalin Polanco (.198) smashed an RBI double. SS Javier Rivas (.234) slapped two singles, and DH Alexander Mojica (.237) drove in a run. RHP Alessandro Ercolani (1-3, 6.35) allowed five runs on five hits, walked three, gave up a home run and struck out six in three innings. LHP Yoldin De La Paz (6.08) allowed a run on three hits in two innings of relief and RHP Elijah Birdsong (1.29) tossed one inning and gave up four runs (none earned) on two hits.
