Work on two road projects in Indiana Township is progressing, PennDOT has announced.
Saxonburg Boulevard
PennDOT slide repair work on Saxonburg Boulevard in Indiana Township will require part of the road to be closed until May 19.
Saxonburg Boulevard between Klein Road and Francioni Lane will be closed around-the-clock.
South of the closure, motorists should take Middle Road northbound, turn right onto Harts Run Road, follow Harts Run to Saxonburg Boulevard.
North of the closure, motorists should follow the detour in reverse.
PennDOT crews will conduct slide repair work and roadway reconstruction.
Indianola Road
PennDOT has announced that it expects to reopen a portion of Indianola Road in Indiana Township on May 12.
Inclement weather forced an extension of work to repair a slide. PennDOT crews are also completing road shoulders and improve drainage.
The road is closed between Vineyard Lane and Old Mill Road. Traffic is detoured via Dorseyville Road, Saxonburg Boulevard and Route 910.
