PennDOT is planning extended single-lane restrictions Tuesday through Thursday on northbound Route 28 in Sharpsburg and Aspinwall, weather permitting.
The restrictions will take place continuously from 7 a.m. Tuesday through 3 p.m. Wednesday between North Canal Street/Kittanning Pike and the Highland Park Bridge and 7 a.m. Wednesday through 3 p.m. Thursday between the Highland Park Bridge and Delafield Avenue.
PennDOT also is reminding motorists that a single-lane restriction between the bridge and Delafield Avenue will continue from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays through mid-May as crews conduct sound barrier work.
