Aspinwall conducted its annual “Green Streets” trash pickup on April 22 to coincide with Earth Day.

Volunteers spread out through the borough to pick up trash and collected more than 70 bags, according to Andy Collins of Aspinwall Neighbors, which hosted the event. The Fox Chapel Area High School Environmental Club participated.

Aspinwall police also manned a drug take-back tent where people could turn in old or unwanted medications to be disposed of properly.
