Garden club slates February program

Longvue Acres Garden Club’s February program will be Lawn to Nature presented by Ken Knapp and Leah Fulton, assistant naturalists at Latodami Nature Center.

The Latodami Nature Center has partnered with the North Area Environmental Council to create a special Lawn to Nature Kit with everything you need to convert 100 square feet of your yard into a thriving native plant garden.

Kits will be available for sale soon at naecwpa.org/lawn tonature. One kit will be raffled off at the meeting at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 28 at Northmont United Presbyterian Church, 8169 Perry Highway, McCandless.

Programs are on the fourth Tuesday of the month and are free and open to the public.
