Verona man dies after Penn Hills shooting

A Verona man has been identified as the victim in a fatal shooting in Penn Hills early Saturday morning.

Kenneth E. Dorsey, 39, died from surgery-related complications at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Oakland, the Allegheny County Medical Examiner and Allegheny County Police said.

Dorsey was shot in the abdomen around 12:15 a.m. Saturday in the 400 block of Hochberg Road, according to Allegheny County Police. Dorsey was pronounced dead at 4:34 a.m., the medical examiner said.

Allegheny County Police are investigating Dorsey’s death.
