A Worthington woman was killed and another person was in critical condition following a head-on crash Saturday evening on the McKees Rocks Bridge, officials said.

The woman who perished in the wreck was 38-year-old Kendra Fennell, according to the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office. She was pronounced dead at the scene in Pittsburgh’s Marshall-Shadeland neighborhood.

Pittsburgh police and other emergency responders were called to the bridge just before 6 p.m. for a report of a collision. They arrived to find the occupant of one vehicle dead at the scene, with a second occupant transported in critical condition. The driver of a second vehicle was also taken to the hospital in stable condition, according to police.

The bridge was closed until around 11 p.m. Saturday night, as police investigated. The injured victims have not been identified.

Additional information was not immediately available.
