No injuries reported in New Kensington crash that closed Tarentum Bridge Road

A portion of Tarentum Bridge Road in New Kensington was closed for a short time Friday morning after an SUV flipped between Leechburg Road and Carl Avenue.

No injuries were reported, according to New Kensington Fire Department No. 2.

Emergency crews responded to the crash just after 7 a.m. near Cabrileo’s Gourmet Coffee. According to a social media post by the fire department, one person was trapped briefly in the overturned SUV after it collided with a vehicle.

The driver was able to free himself from the SUV before firefighters were on the scene.

Fire crews cleared the road of fluid and debris.
