PennDOT District 11 is alerting motorists of lane restrictions Saturday on Route 28 in the City of Pittsburgh.

Single-lane restrictions, weather permitting, will occur from 6 a.m. to noon in both directions near the East Ohio Street (Exit 1B) off-ramp as crews inspect the Charles J. Lieberth Pedestrian Walkway. Ramp traffic will be maintained.

Crews from Mackin Engineering and the Sofis Rigging Co. will conduct the inspection.

Motorists should be prepared for changing traffic patterns and use caution when driving through the area.
