On Oct. 29, the Rotary Club of Quaker Valley held its annual Halloween Parade in Sewickley.

The parade route started and ended at the Cochran Hose Company, where hot dogs, chips, lemonade and treat bags were handed out to children.

Participants included the Quaker Valley High School Marching Band, the cast of Quaker Valley Middle School’s production of “Frozen,” and an estimated more than 500 costumed children and parents.

“The Rotary Club would like to thank Sewickley council, Mayor George Shannon, the Sewickley Police and Cochran Hose Company, Sewickley Public Works, John Tucci, the Rotary Club of North Boroughs, Safrans Supermarket, all who donated to make this a successful event, but most importantly, all of the children and adults who participated in the parade,” said Rotary Club president Scott Zahner.
