Now that President Biden has pushed college loan forgiveness, let’s think for a minute about jobs that do not require college.

Not everyone wants or needs college. Right now we need plumbers, electricians, auto mechanics, construction workers, heavy equipment operators, etc. — workers educated in trade schools.

We hear Biden talk college, but what about the trades? Trade schools are not free, however, they provide education for services that everyone needs. We need to start promoting the schooling for these programs.

The working generation that is on the border of retirement is the last generation providing these skilled workers. Without education and training, there will be no one to work in these fields.

We need to push trade schools and get people/students interested in working with their hands and their heads. Once there is no one to do these tasks, we are all in trouble!
