Letter to the editor: We’re off the rails

It seems our country has run off the tracks. The Biden administration’s policy on supplying Ukraine with resources (money as well as hard assets) seems to be whatever it takes for as long as it takes. Without an exit strategy, and an intensive oversight to assure their intended purpose and end use, that is a losing proposition. It puts continued inflationary pressure on an already inflated price burden to income-challenged Americans. It’s difficult for Washington to comprehend because they’re hardly classified as income-challenged.

But it doesn’t end there. What is also troublesome is the continued and forecasted shortage of necessary goods and services. Add the supply chain problem that has not been fully resolved. Border walls might be back in the picture, as is Build Back Better — or is it an Inflation Reduction Act? Nobody knows where the energy fiasco will turn next, or who is buying or supplying to who. It all seems to be so confusing as to be unmanageable.

Hang on to your hats, folks. We don’t have a clue of who is running this circus, and where or when this train wreck will end.
