The Pittsburgh offices of ATI will move to a 20,000-square-foot office in the Strip District after nearly three decades at PPG Place.
Leaders of the global specialty materials firm signed a long-term lease at The Vision on 15th, a luxury mixed-use development along Smallman Street.
The move is expected to take place this summer
“Our new workplace, with the dynamic energy of The Strip, will reinforce ATI’s drive for innovation,” said Robert Wetherbee, ATI board chairman, president and CEO.
“It’s great to continue our Pittsburgh presence in a unique and progressive workplace designed for our team’s needs, propelling the culture that’s important for our future.”
Last week, ATI announced its executive headquarters would move to Dallas.
The Vision on 15th is an eight-story building that was constructed this year and includes 374 covered parking spaces. ATI will occupy space on the third floor and is the first tenant signed to a lease.
ATI’s offices had been at Six PPG Place since the early 1990s.

There are more than 100 people there that work in finance, digital technology, human resources, internal audit, strategic sourcing and legal departments, among others.
The space at Vision on 15th will be designed to meet ATI’s needs, she said. The complex boasts expansive views of the city and the Allegheny River and possesses a number of amenities that employees requested.
Mary Beth Moore, vice president of human resources, said employees wanted a contemporary space with ample parking, natural lighting and access to Route 28 and other highways.
“We conducted an extensive search with these factors in mind,” Moore said. “(The Vision’s) atmosphere will provide the collaborative, forward-focused spirit our employees want and deserve.”
