Man in critical condition after stabbing in Penn Hills

A man is in critical condition at a local hospital after being stabbed early Wednesday in Penn Hills, Allegheny County Police said.

Detectives from the county’s homicide department are investigating the incident that they said occurred at 6:07 a.m. Wednesday morning in the 11500 block of Frankstown Road.

According to police, first responders found an adult male suffering from a stab wound to the chest.

Police have not identified the victim and did not release any information on a possible suspect.

The victim was transported to an area hospital and is listed in critical condition.

Anyone with information on the stabbing is asked to call the Allegheny County Police Tip Line at 1-833-ALL-TIPS (255-8477) and callers may remain anonymous.
