I would like to thank Eric Felack from the Lower Burrell office of Rep. Bob Brooks. After a recent storm, a transformer as well as three telephone poles plus trees snapped in half were blocking lower Mintwood Drive. Many elderly neighbors were suffering, including one woman on oxygen who needed to be transported by ambulance.

Numerous people called West Penn Power to report the issues, especially since it was no longer a “minor inconvenience;” some elderly folks had to leave their homes for safety. Nothing was being done. I called Brooks’ office and, due to his empathy and quick reaction, a number of West Penn Power trucks came to the rescue about 25 minutes later. Everyone was truly thankful!
