Maryland businessman wins North Allegheny alum award

William F. Rothenbach, a 1972 graduate of North Allegheny High School, received the North Allegheny Foundation’s 2022 Distinguished Alumni Award for excellence in business.

Shortly before receiving that award, he received a Distinguished Alumni Award from Edinboro University, where he graduated in 1976. He was recognized by Edinboro for success in his field and for his service and philanthropy to the students and mission of Edinboro University.

Rothenbach is president of Harbor Lights Human Resources Consulting, LLC in Abingdon, Md., and holds a master’s degree in industrial/organizational psychology from The University of Akron.

He established the William Rothenbach Scholarship at North Allegheny and the William F. Rothenbach Psychology Scholarship at Edinboro University.

He also is an award-winning abstract expressionist painter, who recently completed a solo art show at the largest commercial art gallery in Maryland.
