State police seeking information in theft of 8,000 golf balls in Somerset County

Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for information that leads to the arrest of the persons responsible for stealing 8,000 golf balls from a Somerset County golf course.

State police in Somerset report that the Oakbrook Golf Course located at 251 Golf Course Road in Jenner Township reported this month that 8,000 golf balls have been stolen from its driving range over the past 1-1/2 months.

Police said the golf balls were various brands.

“… however, a large portion of the stolen golf balls are a yellow Mizuno golf ball labeled “PRACTICE”, according to Crime Stoppers.

Any persons with information regarding this theft is asked to call troopers in Somerset at 814-445-4104 or anonymously contact the Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers Toll Free at 1-800-4PA-TIPS (8477). Messages can also be sent to https://www.p3tips.com/tipform.aspx?ID=107
