Summer wine walk
The 8th Annual Summer Wine Walk in Harmony will be June 4 in Historic Harmony from 5-9 p.m.
Fifteen wineries and distilleries will be featured in the tour, as well as five music venues and two charcuterie vendors, a gourmet mac and cheese vendor, and a sandwich/barbecue vendor.
Tickets are available on the Zelienople library’s website at zelienoplelibrary.org. Select “How to Help” at the top, then from the drop down, chose, “Fundraisers.” Tickets are also available on Eventbrite.com.
This event is a fundraiser for the Zelienople Area Public Library.
Great gardens tour
The 14th Annual Shaler Great Gardens Tour takes place July 10 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
Sponsored by the Shaler Garden Club, the tour benefits the Shaler North Hills Library.
Tickets can be purchased at the Shaler North Hills Library, 1822 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw, for $15 in advance of the tour and $18 the day of the tour. Tickets are also available online at www.shalerlibrary.org.
Each ticket includes visits to five beautiful gardens – with such unique features as raised bed flower gardens, wooded gardens and handsome hardscapes — as well as a chance to win a lovely gift basket. The event is held rain or shine.
