I read with some enjoyment the letter from Brian Luce (“Don’t let your rights be taken away.”) Clearly, he was joking by regurgitating the talking points of Joy Reid and other “journalists” on CNN, MSNBC and other left-leaning “news” shows.

I laughed at “My body, my choice.” After all, I have been saying that for two years concerning the covid-19 vaccines. I know the arguments for getting the shots, so don’t waste your time responding.

Apparently, it’s too much for some people to understand that overturning Roe v. Wade and returning the abortion question to the states is not outlawing abortion. It will become the choice of “we the people” of every state to make that decision.

As for gays returning to the closet and forcing Christianity on the nation … well, as far as I am concerned, that is fear mongering from the left. Fear to drive up voter turnout but not based on reality. We as a nation can do better: less fear and more truth, not speculation.
