Dear Monroeville residents and Clean Up Day volunteers:

All of Monroeville needs to thank the 425 volunteers who donated their time to clean Monroeville’s roadways and parks for the 27th annual Jack Sedlak Memorial Clean Up Day.

The volunteers picked up 907 bags of litter, 44 tires, six televisions and various other debris.

We also would like to thank our generous sponsors and prize donors, without whom Clean Up Day, the post-cleanup appreciation picnic and prize raffle would not be possible.

The sponsors’ support and volunteers’ enthusiasm are a reason why the Jack Sedlak Memorial Clean Up Day continues to be one of the largest cleanup events in Western Pennsylvania.

We made a difference by showing pride in Monroeville. Thanks again to all of the volunteers and sponsors.

Sincerely,

The Sedlak Family and the Municipality of Monroeville
