Albert Dikwa had his first multi-goal game as a member of the Riverhounds on Saturday, helping lift Pittsburgh to a 4-3 victory over FC Tulsa at ONEOK Field in Oklahoma.

Alex Dixon and Dane Kelly also scored for the Hounds, who improved to 4-0-1 in the Eastern Conference, the best league start in the team’s 23-season history.

The Riverhounds (5-1-3-1) led 2-1 at halftime on a goal by Dikwa in the sixth minute and a score by Dixon in the 14th minute. Tulsa’s first-half score came on an own goal.

The Hounds’ Kelly added a goal 67 seconds into the second half, and Dikwa scored again in the 60th minute to make it 4-1 before Tulsa’s J.J. Williams and Rodrigo da Costa scored in the final 10 minutes to make things interesting late.

The Riverhounds are in first place in the Eastern Conference.

They will be on the road again next Saturday at the Las Vegas Lights FC (3-2-0).
