The Talbot Thon fundraiser returns March 25 to Hampton High School, with proceeds going to the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation.

Hampton High School Student Council is partnering with Pitt Dance Marathon to reach a goal of raising $40,000 to support children with cancer.

This year’s event, which runs from 3:45 to 11:30 p.m., will feature face painting, Karaoke, wing and pie eating contests, Zumba, desserts, dodgeball, volleyball, raffles, and more. During community hours, 5 to 7 p.m., visitors can make purchases from several food trucks, including Los Chicos, Oakmont BBQ and D & L’s Handcrafted Deli, and take a peek at the Talbot Thon.

A three-on-three basketball tournament will take place on Friday, March 11, with registration fees helping raise money for UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. T-shirts are being sold to support the cause, as well.
