One person was injured in a shooting late Wednesday in Braddock, authorities said.

The shooting happened just after 11:15 p.m. on Camp Avenue, according to Allegheny County Police.

Responding to a 911 call about a shooting, first responders found a man with a gunshot wound to his lower leg, police said. He is expected to survive.

Tribune-Review news partner WPXI-TV reported numerous evidence markers on the ground near the scene.

The TV station reported that investigators remained on scene for several hours, focusing much of their attention on a Jeep that had both drivers’ side doors open.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the county police tip line at 1-833-ALL-TIPS (1-833-255-8477).
