“I’m keeping it,” said Mark Madden about the Penguins’ first round pick as the NHL trade deadline approaches.
Madden has wrestled with whether or not the Penguins should deal their first-round pick to acquire a top-flight player to help this year’s team. Madden doesn’t think the Penguins are a Cup-winning team this year.
“I think the Penguins can beat anybody in a series, I don’t think that they can beat everybody in a series,” Madden explained on this week’s edition of “Unfiltered” with Mark Madden and Tim Benz on TribLIVE’s Facebook page.
Benz and Madden look at the outlook for the Penguins and what the playoffs hold for the Pens and the rest of the field.
