On Wednesday afternoon, the team recalled Almari, Fedun, Gruden and Puustinen from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League.

Note: Defenseman Mark Friedman did not participate in practice in Cranberry on Wednesday for what was termed a maintenance day. During a 5-4 shootout home win against the Buffalo Sabres, Friedman required medical attention after blocking a shot during the first period. Despite the mishap, he completed the game.
