Dick’s Sporting Goods will officially open its first Public Lands store in Cranberry Township on Sept. 24.
According to Dick’s, Public Lands, “will focus on helping more people get outside to explore and protect America’s public lands.”

So, whether your playground is the crag or the creek, single track or the slopes, whether you’ve been shredding for years, or are taking your first steps on the trail, we’ve got the gear and the outdoor style you need. We’re here to help you thrive on our nation’s public lands. And we’re committed to protecting public lands for all,” according to the website.
The 50,000 square-foot store will feature a 30-foot rock wall, in-store gear repair and rentals. While grand opening is set for Sept. 24, the store is currently open for business. Hours are 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Mondays-Saturdays and 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Sundays. A second location is set to open Sept. 29 in Polaris, Ohio.
“It will carry a premium assortment of outdoor and lifestyle apparel, footwear, and equipment brands, and support the local outdoor community through conservation and access and equity-based initiatives,” the retailer said.
Specialized shops inside will be focused on biking, camping, fishing, paddling, skiing, climbing, running and hiking.
One percent of all Public Lands sales will go back into local and national conservation efforts.
Public Lands is at Cranberry Square, 1000 Cranberry Square Drive, Suite D.
