INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 45-51) fell, 3-2, to Louisville (Reds). LHP Sam Howard, on a rehab assignment for an oblique injury, was the opener, pitching a scoreless inning with a walk and two strikeouts. RHP James Marvel (4-6, 5.42) followed and gave up three runs on five hits with six strikeouts in five innings. RHP Cody Ponce (5.08) threw two scoreless frames. SS Hoy Park (.311) went 1 for 2 with a walk, a run scored and his ninth stolen base. C Christian Bethancourt (.269) went 1 for 4 with an RBI.

Next: Wednesday vs. Louisville (Reds), 1:35 p.m.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 51-44) had 20 hits and clobbered Richmond (Giants), 16-5. SS Oneil Cruz went 3 for 5 with four runs scored and two stolen bases, his 11th and 12th. 3B Rodolfo Castro (.302) was 2 for 5 with a three-run homer, his 12th. RF Cal Mitchell (.283) went 5 for 6 with five RBIs. 1B Mason Martin (.259) went 2 for 4 with a double, two walks and three runs scored. 2B Diego Castillo (.279) was 3 for 4 with two walks and two RBIs. RHP Steven Jennings (3-0, 5.61) allowed one run on four hits in three innings of relief. LHP Oddy Nunez (8.66) pitched three scoreless innings for his first save.

Next: Wednesday vs. Richmond (Giants), 6 p.m.

GREENSBORO (High A, 60-37) was rolled by Asheville (Astros), 13-6. C Henry Davis went on the seven-day injured list with an oblique injury. DH Will Matthiessen (.231) went 1 for 5 with a three-run homer, his 10th. LF Lolo Sanchez (.252) was 2 for 3 with two walks and three runs scored. C Blake Sabol (.297) went 3 for 4 with a double and two RBIs. 2B Nick Gonzales (.296) went 1 for 5 with a double. RHP Grant Ford (7-4, 5.88) was tagged with seven runs, six earned, on six hits and four walks in 2.2 innings.

BRADENTON (Low A, 58-35) and Fort Myers (Twins) were rained out. The game will be made up ina doubleheader at 4:30 p.m. Friday.
