The North Hills School District is teaming up with Giant Eagle supermarkets to host a covid-19 vaccine clinic on July 20, 2021. Patrons will receive the Pfizer vaccine, which requires two doses. The second shot will be administered on Aug. 10.

The North Hills School District is partnering with Giant Eagle supermarkets to hold a covid-19 vaccination clinic for anyone 12 years old and up.

The first dose of the Pfizer vaccine will be administered at the high school cafeteria on Tuesday, July 20 followed by the second dose on Aug. 10.

Registration is required by July 6 to receive the vaccine.

After registering, a link will be sent to sign up for an appointment.

People 18 and younger also will receive a form by email that must be completed and presented before the shot is administered. The form also can be faxed, emailed or dropped off to the nurse in the school building a student attends prior to July 20.

The shots will be administered by Giant Eagle pharmacy employees.

People who are scheduled to receive the vaccine should skip the appointment if they or someone in their household is exhibiting any covid-19 symptoms or if they have been in close contact of someone diagnosed with the virus.
