One person was killed in an early-morning crash Thursday in Penn Hills, according to Allegheny County police.

Crews responded to a two-vehicle crash on Rodi Road around 12:30 a.m., authorities said.

A 27-year-0ld man who was driving a Kia SUV was found dead, police said. His identity has not be released.

His SUV collided with a Chevrolet Cobalt whose driver and passenger were hospitalized in stable condition.

Rodi Road reopened around 6:30 a.m. after being closed between Stoneledge and Morrow Drives for several hours.

Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call the county police tip line at 1-833-ALL-TIPS. Callers can remain anonymous.
