The Pittsburgh Riverhounds played the final 31 minutes of Tuesday’s game a man short but still managed to earn a 1-0 victory over Indy Eleven (3-4-1) at Carroll Stadium in Indianapolis.

Tommy Williamson scored on a free kick in the 37th minute to provide the winning tally for the Riverhounds (3-3-2).

Defender Jelani Peters received his second yellow card of the match in the 62nd minute, which left the Hounds with just 10 men for the remainder of the game and stoppage time.

Despite an increased attack from Indy Eleven, the Hounds’ defense held strong to preserve the shutout.

Jake Leeker recorded his first shutout.

Dani Rovira was named the Hounds man of the match in his first start of the season as a holding midfielder. He led the team in touches on the ball (55), possession gained (10), interceptions (4) and tied for the lead in clearances (3).

The Riverhounds will be back in action at the Tampa Bay Rowdies (6-1-0) at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. The Rowdies won the first meeting, 3-0.
