Warm weather on Tuesday enticed local residents to explore activities at Latrobe’s Legion Keener Park. Children enjoyed a story time while patrons browsed the town’s weekly farmers market.

About 90 kids combined attended two story sessions, sponsored by Adams Memorial Library and WQED as part of Latrobe’s Mister Rogers Family Days.

The celebration of local native and iconic children’s television host Fred Rogers continues through Saturday at downtown locations.

Arts and crafts, live entertainment, merchant’s specials, a movie night and a scavenger hunt are planned. Visit latrobeartcenter.org and select “Special Events” under the “Programs & Events” heading for more information.

About a dozen booths and a food truck offered a variety of plants, edibles and other merchandise for patrons at the farmers market. The market is held from noon to 4 p.m. Tuesdays at the park.
