North Huntingdon police are asking the public’s assistance for information on a two-vehicle crash Monday on Route 30 that sent three people to an area hospital, including one in critical condition.

Chief Robert Rizzo reported the crash occurred about 12:24 p.m. Monday at the intersection of Route 30 at Norwin Avenue.

Rizzo said a black Chevrolet Avalanche, driving by a minor, was turning from Route 30 on to Norwin Avenue and collided with a black Honda Fit with three occupants that was driving in the slow lane eastbound on Route 30. None of those involved were identified by police.

Rizzo said the three occupants of the Honda were transported to Forbes Regional Hospital, including a rear seat passenger who was reported in critical but stable condition.

The accident remains under investigation. Anyone who may have seen the accident is asked to call police at 724-864-8800.
