ALTOONA (Double-A, 8-5) was blanked 2-0 by Harrisburg (Nationals). Travis MacGregor started and pitched five shutout innings, allowing only one hit with seven strikeouts and two walks in a no-decision. Will Gardner took the loss, surrendering two runs over two innings of relief. The Curve had only four hits and no extra base hits. 2B Ji-hwan Bae, 3B Rodolfo Castro, RF Canaan Smith-Njigba and C Arden Pabst had a single each.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 8-6) won 8-5 in 10 innings over Hickory (Rangers). The Grasshoppers plated four runs in the 10th, which was highlighted by an RBI double by SS Francisco Acuna. RF Fabricio Macias and 3B Jared Triolo drove in three runs each. Macias had three hits, including a double. CF Matt Gorski and Matthew Frazier also doubled. Tahnaj Thomas started and pitched five innings, allowing two runs on two hits with five strikeouts and one walk. Bear Bellomy pitched 2⅔ innings of hitless relief and gave up one unearned run with two strikeouts to improve to 3-0 on the season.

BRADENTON (Low-A, 7-7) was shut out 7-0 for the second consecutive day by Lakeland (Tigers). The Marauders had only two hits and made four errors. RF Jasiah Dixon and SS Dariel Lopez had a single each. Lopez committed three of the four errors. Santiago Florez started and gave up only one run in 3⅔ innings and struck out seven.
