Police log: Multiple charges filed in Monroeville court April 30 – May 7, 2021

The following charges were filed April 30 through May 7, 2021, with Monroeville District Judge Jeffrey L. Herbst. All charges were filed by Monroeville police unless otherwise noted:

• Darrell Carr, 31, of Pitcairn with burglary, criminal trespass, stalking, criminal mischief and loitering, and prowling at night. Pitcairn police filed the charges May 4 in connection with an incident along the 400 block of Broadway Boulevard.

• Michael Hawthorne, 40, of Swissvale with possession with intent to deliver, possession of controlled substances and driving with a suspended license. Charges were filed May 4 in connection with an incident along the 4600 block of Old William Penn Highway.

• Shane Rause, 24, of Greensburg with driving under the influence. Charges were filed May 5 in connection with an incident near the intersection of William Penn Highway and Mosside Boulevard.

• Christopher Newell, 50, of Monroeville with simple assault and harassment. Charges were filed May 3 in connection with an incident along the 600 block of Illini Drive.

• Nicholas Norris, 29, of Pitcairn with public drunkenness, possession of drug paraphernalia, disorderly conduct and two counts of possession of prohibited offensive weapons. Pitcairn police filed the charges April 30 in connection with an incident along the 500 block of Broadway Boulevard.

• Cassidy Chappell, 25, of North Huntingdon with driving under the influence and driving on right side of roadway. Charges were filed May 7 in connection with an incident near the intersection of Mosside Boulevard and MacBeth Drive.

• Jules Williams, 41, of Pittsburgh with providing false identification to law enforcement. Charges were filed May 7 in connection with an incident along the 2700 block of Mosside Boulevard.

• Demarco Jackson, 33, of Pittsburgh with disorderly conduct and possession of drug paraphernalia. Charges were filed May 7 in connection with an incident along the 3800 block of Northern Pike.
