A road in Penn Hills and another in Monroeville will partially close for a day as crews inspect bridges in the area, the Allegheny County Department of Public Works announced Tuesday.

In Penn Hills, Lincoln Road will be restricted to one lane of traffic from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on April 22 and 23 to allow crews to inspect the Shades Run Bridge, which is near Lincoln Avenue Extension.

In Monroeville, crews will inspect the Turtle Creek Bridge. The bridge carries Saunders Station Road between Abers Creek Road in Monroeville and Sycamore Lane in Penn Township. The road will be closed down to one lane of traffic from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 28.

The inspections are being done by GAI Consultants, Inc.
