Minor league report: Jordy Bellerive, Penguins beat Devils in overtime

An overtime goal by forward Jordy Bellerive gave the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins a 5-4 comeback home win against the Binghamton Devils at Mohegan Sun Arena in Wilkes-Barre on Saturday.

Forward Felix Robert had a goal and an assist for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (7-7-3-2) while forward Jonathan Gruden added two assists. Goaltender Max Lagace made 17 saves on 21 shots in the victory.

Highlights:

The Penguins’ next game is a road contest against the rival Hershey Bears on Sunday, 3 p.m.

The Wheeling Nailers’ home game against the South Carolina Stingrays at WesBanco Arena in Wheeling was postponed after one period due to unspecified ice issues.

The Stingrays led 2-1 when the contest was postponed.

The game is scheduled to be resumed on Monday, 1 p.m.
