Borough building contracts

Plum council recently approved two deals for its new borough building project along Old Mine Road.

Horizon Information Services will provide data cabling for about $97,000. All Lines Technology will provide a network infrastructure and installation at a cost of $127,270.

Both are state contracts through COSTARS and did not need to go out for bid. Borough manager Michael Thomas said the work for both proposals will not take place for a few months from now and awarding the contracts this early was because of the long lead time for some of the equipment because of the pandemic.
