This letter is directed to all congressmen and women who have a deep belief in Donald Trump. Is your loyalty to Trump more important to you than your loyalty to your country? I would like you to find a quiet place to think about this. Go for a walk alone. Sit in your car. Go to a church. Do not think about a future election. Do not think about how many votes you may lose if you vote your conscience. Do you have a conscience? Do you know right from wrong? The Constitution has no party loyalty. Didn’t you swear to uphold it?

When it comes time to vote on Trump’s impeachment, I pray your vote will be to uphold the Constitution. To do otherwise would feed the ego of a man willing to overthrow the duly and newly elected government. He was willing to let you die in the Capitol. Is this the man you are choosing to support?

I ask again: Is your loyalty to the man or to your country?
