Pine, Richland coronavirus numbers for the week of Feb. 3, 2021

Pine and Richland townships are following the national trend of reporting fewer positive cases of the coronavirus.

As of Feb. 3, there have been 731 total cases of the novel coronavirus in Pine Township since March, according to the latest information provided by an interactive Allegheny County covid-19 map. Six deaths have been reported, and 4,155 tests have been administered to Pine residents.

Pine Township’s case rate is 636 per 10,000 residents.

Since the pandemic began, Richland Township has had 675 total cases of the virus. In that time, Richland has seen 35 deaths, and 3,321 tests have been administered to Richland residents.

The case rate in Richland is 608 per 10,000 residents.
